Church History September 15, 2000 - After seven years of traveling around the world preaching God’s Word, Korey & Faith Jones felt led in their heart to start a church in a populated yet unchurched area somewhere in North America. After much study and prayer the densely populated north side of Atlanta was chosen for the new church plant.
February 25, 2001 - Founding Faith Worship began with its first service at the North Alpharetta Park Senior Activity Center. The Jones' and three visitors were present.
April 2001 - Services were moved to the Jones’ rented home at 487 Michael Drive.
June 2001 – Believing that God would provide for the rent, the Jones’ moved the services back to North Alpharetta Park. God did provide. The church grew.
March 2002 – Services were moved to Wills Park Recreation Center.
January 2003 – With attendance averaging in the low 20’s another step of faith was taken and a 3,000 sq ft office building was leased at 610 Hembree Parkway. Over the next 15 months the church tripled in attendance.
December 9, 2005 – Property at 13660 Cogburn Road was purchased with the Jones’ and five other people signing as guarantors.
January 29 2006 – Founding Faith moved out of the office building and began holding services at the Hilton Garden Inn on Windward Parkway.
June 2006 - Founding Faith leased space at 610 Hembree Parkway once again and continues to grow.
